Pillowcases for Patriots

Do you love your pillow? For many of us, it is an essential element in getting a good night’s sleep. Blue Star Mothers of Edmond is conducting a campaign entitled “Pillowcases for Patriots”.

We are attempting to collect 600 new pillowcases to be sent to troops who are currently deployed. These brave Americans often do not have regular laundry service and rejoice in having a clean pillow on which to lay their heads.

Mrs. Hormann and Mrs. Thompson in the west high school office are both members of Blue Star Mothers, an organization which consists of mothers of service members in the Air Force, Army, Marines and Navy.

Please bring your donation of new, standard size pillowcases of any color to the west office by Friday, May 4th. We will enter your name for a gift prize as a thank you for your support. Feel free to share this information with your friends, family, Sunday School classes, and service organizations.
