Lions Club to Form Deer Creek Chapter
District 3-H of the Lions of Oklahoma are in the process of forming a new Lions Club in the Deer Creek community.
Last Tuesday, the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) released its publication entitled, Rich States, Poor States. This is one of the most important reports for measuring each state government’s commitment to allow the free market to provide prosperity for its citizens.

I have some exciting news to share with you about Deer Creek Middle School. Today, DCMS was among several Deer Creek Schools recognized as a Reward School by the Oklahoma Department of Education, House of Representatives, and State Senate. Of the more than 1,700 schools eligible for this recognition, only 127 schools statewide received this distinction.
